I am NOT loving this 40 degree weather or the 1-2" of snow coming tonight...boo hoo! I want sunshine and weather in the 70's...is that too much to ask??? Kimberly's class had some fun in the sun (so to speak) on last Tuesday. They each brought in their beach towels and sunglasses and had a beach party where they read/took quizzes on AR books all day.

I was soooo happy when that 70 degree weather hit the tri-state area! Too bad it couldn't stick around for our Spring Break this week. It was nice to get outside for a few days, watch the kids in the neighbor play and have the sunshine lift my mood a little. It also helped to lift my mood that Bridget my hairdresser did a fabulous job cutting and coloring my hair. Everyone of us at Casa Ossege are dying for some warm spring weather and to rejoin the world in some outside activities such as soccer games which start next weekend.
Today, we are relaxing and I am doing some Spring cleaning. Yesterday, we officially kicked off Spring Break with a day filled with fun! First we went to lunch at one of our favorites little spots in town Cobblestone Cafe. We watched "Mars Needs Moms" at AMC on the Levee and played games at Gameworks. We ended our day with takeout Chinese, ice cream sundaes, and the movie "Ramona and Beezus".
Tomorrow, the girls are heading to Stars On Ice with my SIL Dana, Halle, and Grandma Grothaus. They are sure to have a blast!
