What Are You Watching?

Hopefully everyone who wanted to watch Kimberly sing at Moyer's Talent Show, got the e-mail with the link to seee her on youtube.com. She has loved all the wonderful, positive comments she has received! Thank You!

TV shows are always the topic of conversation whether you are at work, school, or home. Over the years we have seen TV shows that made us love them and hate them. Here are some of our favorite shows at the moment...

GRIMM
If you haven't seen it, it is a humorous and dramatic take on the Grimm Fairy Tales. Every character on the show is played by an amazing actor/actress and the story line keeps you intrigued.

THE WALKING DEAD

I fully admit I never thought I would ever watch The Walking Dead, since I am not a big fan of scary shows or movies. Plus, Randy and I were late comers to this show. We only started watching after Randy's co-worker got him interested. We started watching in the middle of season 2 and were immediately hooked! Again, while I am not a big gore fan, the storyline and the strong characters drew me in immediately. We were so hooked we rented all of Season 1 and the beginning of Season 2 from Blockbuster over Christmas Break to get caught up.
My favorite character of the show is hands down Daryl Dixon; if they ever kill him off I may have to stop watching the show.

FACE OFF

This is a fun show to watch! It gives you a view into the world of movie make-up. It is a reality competition show like American Idol and Chopped. People trying to be the next big name in movie magic compete in 2 challenges each week to create characters that best fit the challenge. We are always amazed at how they sculpt, mold, paint, design, construct, etc... to make their characters. If you have always wondered how they make characters for movies/shows like the zombies in The Walking Dead or the giants in the new movie Jack and the Giant Slayer, you will love this show!

REVOLUTION

What an amazing concept for a show! It is terrifying thinking of what would the world would be like if this really happened. We have many characters we love like Myles Matherson and the evil Captain Neville. Unfortunately, the actress they cast for the lead role, can't act her way out a cardboard box. We are excited for the next season to get underway and find out what happens when they discover they have power again.

ONCE UPON A TIME

God bless the creators of LOST and Once Upon A Time - Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz! What would TV be like without them? This is a show we watch as a whole family. It is again like Grimm a new twist on all our beloved fairytale characters as well as other famous characters throughout history like Frankenstein.  The casting of this show is phenomenal, but by far the best character of the series is Rumpelstiltskin (A.K.A. Mr. Gold); he makes you hate and love him at the same time. As a bonus, some beloved actors/actresses from Lost are main characters or made guest appearances. the casting of this show is top notch

AUSTIN AND ALLY

Lexus and Kimberly are into some cute shows on Disney like Austin and Ally, Good Luck Charlie, and Jessie. Each show is good, quality television for the kids to watch and they love how music is always integrated into the shows.

ULTIMATE SPIDERMAN ON DISNEY

For those of you who spend your time watching TV with the Preschool set, Austin would like to share his favorite TV Shows. I have actually found all 3 of my kids sucked into this show; I admit it is pretty funny. Like most boys his age, he is big into superheroes, TMNT (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles), and Power Rangers.

SCOOBY DOO

Scooby Doo will forever be a favorite in our house! It is something we all can watch together at anytime. We can watch the same Scooby Doo movies over and over and they never get old. Obviously, the show has with stood the test of time and has been successfully recreated several times.
