Great Wolf Lodge

Our family spent a great overnight vacation at the Great Wolf Lodge up by King's Island earlier this year. It was such a wonderful place for the kids! (and adults too!) The whole hotel is decorated in the lodge theme. When you walk in, the lobby is very impressive with it's immense size, it's huge fireplace, and gigantic clock in the middle. The clock is actually a show that happens 3 times a day using animatronics and music. We had a room with a loft and fireplace, it was great. It had 2 queen beds on the lower level, a queen bed in loft, 2 bathrooms, living room and kitchenet. There are many different places to eat, an arcade, spa, and of course the WATERPARK! The waterpark is amazing (kept at a constant 84 degrees)and has something for everyone. Kimberly said the 4 story treehouse was her favorite and Lexus loved the water roller coaster. I am not joking it was a real working roller coaster, so cool! There is even a game called Magi Quest (think Harry Potter) you can play throughout the hotel. You buy a magic wand for $15 and the to play cost $10 (you can get a light-up topper for your wand for an extra $15). You go on 9 quests to find "runes" that give you special powers and then you go on 3 adventures to fight a dragon, an ogre, and I forget the last one. We had so much fun as a whole family completeing the quests. My only suggestion is to make your trip a whole weekend and not overnight. While we had the time of our lives, it was a lot to cram in 2 days and we were literally exhausted Friday night. Hope you all check it out!

Cutest lifeguard!

This is our first family vacation with Austin.

Everyone was tuckered out from all that swimming.

This was such an awesome overnight trip!
