What a fun weekend! We started out the weekend by cheering Micheal Phelps onto Gold #7 on Firday night. Randy and I are addicted to the Olympics. We are glued to our TV watching swimming, beach volleyball, track, gymnastics, etc... There have been so many amazing olympians this year!
Saturday, was the Ossege B-day party for all kids in the 2nd six months of the year (which includes Lexus & Kimberly). It was a full day of swimming, eating, presents, crafts, and playing Blokus (the coolest new game)! The girls recieved lots of new school clothes, games, and some goodies to make them smell extra sweet. Check out the cute cake my SIL Ann made for the party below. Austin had a blast playing with all the bows, boxes, and wrapping paper. I know you can't see it in the pic but Ausitn's shirt reads "Dude, your girlfriend keeps checking me out!". Randy couldn't resist getting it when he saw it. Plus, to end a perfect day, we stayed up to watch Phelps win his #8 gold medal and make world history! It was exciting watching Lesak come thru to win 2 relays for the USA and get gold. We also watched "the fastest man" race, that guy is crazy fast.
Sunday, everyone dressed in Bengals gear, we played w/ all the new b-day toys and watched the Bengals lose to the Lions.
Well, school starts tomorrow for Lexus, so we are going out today to enjoy one last bit of summer fun! Randy is in Chicago this week and returns Thursday night.
