Time is slipping by too quickly these days! I wanted to post all this on Sunday, but here it is Wednesday and I finally found a few spare minutes to get it done. By now this is old news, but GO BENGALS!!! Randy said they are going to give him a heart attack by the end of the season if they keep winning nail-biting, last-second games like this. 4-1 and top of our division thanks to beating the Baltimore Ravens…the Bengals rock this season!
Soccer dominates our weekends and both girls had great games! Kimberly had her first double header and scored her 1st soccer goal!!! We gave her a dollar for scoring the goal and she immediately said "I can't wait to spend it". Let's hope this is not a snapshot of how she will handle money the rest of her life. Lexus had several assists and scored a goal too! Last night, was by far the most exciting soccer game of her little career. We played a team who had five select players on it and who had been beating every team by 6 goals. Bad news for them, we tied them 4-4. It was so exciting watching them play. They'd score a goal; we'd answer with a goal of our own. A fantastic way to end the season! Indoor starts next week…it never ends J
The kids were off school Friday, so we spent a fabulous afternoon at the children's museum.
We got "BOOED" over the weekend! Lots of yummy candy treats to get us in the mood for Halloween. We carried on the fun and booed two other families. The kids are sooooo excited about Halloween this year. Lexus is going to be Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz. Kimberly is actually going to be what she was suppose to be last year (her mother finally got it right this year and ordered it early)…Little Bo Peep who lost her Alligator! (She's a modern Bo Peep, no sheep here) Austin is going to be the alligator, thanks to Mrs. O saving his costume. The zipper broke when we tried it on him.
A cute pic of our favorite boys working on the laptops!
We visited Dad Friday night and took him dinner on Monday. He is looking really good for only having knee replacement surgery last Tuesday. The swelling was going down and he said he was able to bend his leg 115 degrees by Friday, which is pretty amazing according to the physical therapist. She has only seen one other person do that good in all her years and the patient was 29. He showed me a virtual knee surgery with real pics. If you're not too squeamish, it's really kind of amazing what they can do and what exactly goes in to replace your knee. He was able to walk around using only one crutch.

Looks like a fun time! I love the boys and their laptops! Is that your new bedding? I love what little I can see of it.
Glad your dad is doing so well, Car. That's great news :)
And, yay for the girls! Sounds like a snapshot of what my life might be like in a couple of years ;)
Also, I love Austin in his overalls. Could he be any cuter?!
