Kimberly's 1st Communion

Kimberly made her 1st Communion this past Sunday; it was such a special day!!! We were so proud of her and she was picked to take up offertory during the 1st Communion mass. She looked beautiful in her dress and the veil I wore for my First Communion. Our niece Nicole also made her 1st Communion this day as well, so of course we had to have one BIG party to celebrate! I painted a banner for the party ; I think it turned out pretty good.
Angelic looking!

We all had a fabulous time at the party following mass. I got great pics of our special girls...Kimberly and Nicole. They even had their very own special table to eat at. Later in the day there was a fun soccer game Uncles Vs. Kids. It was hilarious!!!

Birthdays Galore!

We have lots of birthdays to celebrate in a years time, especially with 15 neices and nephews! Two  weekends ago we celebrated the winter/spring birthdays. Needless to say, I need to have 15 birthday cards ready to go when needed. So I have been a busy bee cranking out card after card. I still have a few more to make; enjoy the finished ones!

Meet Dan

Meet Dan the Deer...he is the newest addition to our living room wall; right next to Stan the Deer. Dan is quite a bit bigger than Stan; Randy is so proud of this deer.

Kimberly and her classmate Grace wrote and illustrated a book about dolphins for the school library. I love this project! The other kids at school can even check it out of the library just like the other books.

It was Teacher Appreciation week and Kimberly helped me make homemade pumpkin bars with cream cheese icing for our favorite teacher Mrs. G. I made her a super cute card to go with the pumpkin bars.
Randy was off on Friday and took Austin fishing. Austin caught his first fish...a blue gill! He caught 3 total. How can this picture not make you smile ;-)
We held the Spring Ossege birthday party at our house on Sunday. We had an exciting wiffleball game going on in the back yard. We celebrated 5 birthdays: Austin, Samantha, Lauren, Paige, & Nicole!

Easter Memories 2012

The kids were up bright and early itching to see what goodies the Easter Bunny had hid downstairs. I got this pic before the egg/basket hunting frenzy began.
Easter brunch was at my parents' house with the Grothaus family...delicious as ever! I have to say we took some great family pics this year!

My three babes!
The kids are always so excited for the Easter egg hunt!

Checking out their goodies ;-)

Grandma & Grandpa Grothaus...so cute!

We had a really delicious Easter dinner with the Ossege side of the family!

Austin was showing off his barber skills giving Randy a haircut and a shave. I was almost in tears crying/laughing every time Randy winced from the pain and the comments he was making to Austin.  Those plastic scissors don't feel too good ;-)
