A lil' play...A lil' work!

This past weekend started early for us since Randy took off Friday for a doctor's appointment. We spent the afternoon taking naps and the evening swimming in an 89 degree pool...ahhh heaven! For anyone who knows Randy & I, we prefer our pool water at least 85 degrees or higher.

Saturday, was Randy's company picnic at Stricker's Grove. The girls love it! Kimberly was especially excited this year since she can ride the roller coasters now. I was excited about the roller coasters too since last year I was pregnant. Austin got to ride on the merry-go-round and the train. Lexus rode her favorite ride the "tilt-a-whirl" 8 times. She has to ride this by herself because Randy and I feel nauceous every time we ride it...we know we're wimps. We hate spinning rides. It is such a kid-friendly place, we just wish it wasn't so far away.






After all that play, a little work needed to be done around the house. Since Austin will be crawling in the next couple months (he is already starting to rock back & forth on his knees) we decided to steam clean the carpets and furniture. We rented a "rug doctor" from Lowes's and spent our whole Sunday cleaning. We feel so much better now about him being on the floor.




Randy is in Omaha, Nebraska this week. He returns on Friday night. I am hoping to have a new look for our blog in a few weeks, I am having a custom header and theme designed for it. Hope everyone stayed safe during the storm last night.
