Age 30 – Wow! It's finally here! I am the second last of my graduating class to hit this milestone or as Katie said "Join the old Ladies' Club". First, I am not old! I am still very young and believe age is just a number J Despite the rain yesterday, I had a fabulous birthday! The Bengals won which added to my great day. Randy and my 3 darlings took me to Borders to pick out 3 new books I've been dying to read and some must have craft magazines. They treated me to Red Lobster (my fav!) for dinner and dessert…YUM-O! My birthday celebration started on Friday when the girls came over for Craft Night. Jenny made me my own birthday cake topped with Nerds candy (yum) and Dana brought me my favorite chocolate dip from Tastefully Simple (double yum). I am so lucky!!! Thanks for all the wonderful birthday wishes sent by phone, mail, e-mail, Facebook, etc… Creating fabulous cards + great company + good conversation = great therapy…just what I needed. I did make a wedding card for our good neighbors Will & Sue who are getting married this Saturday.
I am still trying to catch up on the blog. Kimberly started dance last Tuesday and I went to Open House at school to see some of Kimberly's work in Kindergarten. Saturday, we watched Lexus play soccer and spent a fun hour at Touch –A-Truck. What a great event, the kids get so excited exploring all the different vehicles from Fire, Police, Buses, to Hazmat, Tow Trucks, and Home Security Trucks. We had to drag Austin away; he wanted to drive all of them home. Lexus brought home her progress report home today and we were pleased as punch. She had all A's and 2 B's. She is also star student this week.
