The Longest Post

What a busy, busy weekend we had! Friday night Lexus' soccer team lost 6-7; it was a real nail-biter! Back and forth each team matched goals and in the final 20 seconds they scored on us to win. She was so fun to watch. Craft night with my girls was also friday at my s-i-l house. Which meant 2 things: 1. craft making, girlfriends, and great food/drinks (3 favorite things at the same time) and my wonderful brother was babysitting my kids downstairs. Randy was out of town all weekend with his brother Matt on their annual hunting trip to Whitley Co. No deer this year :(

The best babysitter...even puts them to sleep for me!

Kimberly's team lost 6-1 on Saturday. We didn't like the loss, but it was great to see Kimberly having fun on the field. She was a little speed demon out there. One second she was by the goal and the next down by the other goal. A mini-blizzard with cookie dough from Dairy Queen seemed to help soften the loss...YUM! Sunday, we supported my sister Steph in her new venture selling Mary Kay products.

Kimberly had watch week at dance last week as well. Some pics I took of our little dancer...

Austin and I have been having a ball at our weekly library group. Last week, the librarian read us some of her favorite books and we got to play with playdoh. Austin shrieked with joy when she told him that we could take our playdoh home. Definetly one of his favorite things to do lately. This week's theme was all about royalty and Austin got to make his own royal crown. He now goes by King Austin :-)

Rainy weather? What is that? I know we need the rain badly since we are in a drought period, but I hope it stops by tonight. I am chaperoning Kimbelry's field trip to the zoo tomorrow while Austin gets some QT (quality time) with Grandma. Rain would not make for a happy or fun field trip.

Update: Kimberly's field trip to the zoo was great! Weather was chilly but dry. The day went smoothly and each girl got to see all their favorite animals. Except the cat house which is under renovation until next May.

Here are some pics of my favorite people...

Here are some more cards I made lately...
