We had a FABULOUS trip with Lexus to All-State in Louisville this past Wednesday and Thursday. She was soooo excited and a little nervous. We all drove down and checked into the Galt House; what a beautiful hotel. We had about 50 minutes to relax in our room before Lexus' demanding schedule began. We ate dinner at TGIFridays and then rushed off to her 1st rehearsal. Below Mrs. Scaggs is giving her pep talk to the group and reminding them how proud she is of them.

Lexus' 1st rehearsal was from 6:30 - 9:00 p.m. and she had to wake up bright and early to go to her 2nd rehearsal at 8:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. All the parents owe Mrs. Scaggs a BIG thank you for escorting the kids back & forth from rehearsals for us. The group got their only break at lunch for an hour and a half. It was back to their 3rd rehearsal at 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. and from there straight to dress rehearsal 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. The show started at 5:15 p.m. and lasted till 7:00 p.m. Talk about a loooooonnng day! We were so proud of Lexus for all the hard work she put into her rehearsals and the show.
During one of her rehearsals Randy and I snuck down the street to the Louisville Slugger Museum and Factory to take a 30-min tour of how they make the bats. It was quite interesting and we got to see the bats they are making for spring training.

Lexus' chorus sang 9 songs; Leuxs' favorite song was O Colored Earth! Randy and I really enjoyed sitting in on some of Lexus' rehearsals and watching the process she had to go through.
| Where's Lexus??? Can you spot her??? |
