Sunday, we bought a brand new rug for the living room, I am so excited about it! It's sure to give the living room a whole new look. We also enjoyed the awesome weather and went to the park for some fun time.
Here is our hardest worker, Austin, helping to sand the floors. Randy and I started the floors on Monday. We sanded, tack clothed and put down the polyurethane. Below are the pics after we sanded the floors.
Here are pics of the floors right after we applied the polyurethane, aren't they all shiny!!! I love how they look at this stage, but they will not continue to be so glossy. As it settles in the wood, it will reduce it to a semi-gloss.
We visited my brother, sil, and their two kids. They were on spring break, lucky them! The kids had a great time playing on the playground, running up the hill, and rolling rocks down the slide.
