Lexus tied her soccer game on Saturday 3-3. Sunday, we planted our spring flowers in the yard. Oh! How I love this tradition. It's part of my Mother's Day present. Randy gives me free-reign to pick out whatever I want for our landscaping. To wonder isle after isle of impatients, pansies, roses, daises, etc...puts a smile on my face. The vibrant colors beckoning to give my house some much needed curb-appeal it loses in the fall/winter. I will post some pics of these beauties tomorrow.
Tonight, a STAR was born! Kimberly performed in her 1st dance recital wearing a hot pink/silver costume that screamed "girly". She really blew us away, remembering all her dance steps and of course throwing in her own flair. We thought for sure this was the last dance recital. Kimberly has expressed all year how dance was boring, she wanted to quit. That notion flew out the window, when she stepped on stage. After, the recital she told us she wanted to dance. We were shocked after how she carried on all year. She dramatically told us "She loves the stage!" and "She needs an audience!" Do all divas express this behavior so young? Hee Hee! Her cousins Natalie and Samantha also performed in the recital. All three girls danced their hearts out!
