Friday Night Lights

Lexus participated in her second cross country race tonight. She ran really well and didn't stop once. She came in seventh place (one spot better than last week). She tripped before the race and scraped her knee pretty good, but she was still determined to run and not give up. We were really proud of her for this. We were also proud of her progress report - all A's and one B! Plus, she got a 105% on her spelling test today!



We attended the Highlands vs. Cov Cath game tonight and to say the least it was a bloodbath. The Highlands cheerleasers held up a sign before the game that read "40 - 0 was the score now prepare to lose by more!" Truer words were never spoken, HIghlands crushed them 61-0. They ran the first kickoff back for a touchdown. It all went down hill form there.


Now, I have a little something to gripe about - I had to renew my driver's license today and it cost me $20! I remember the last time I did it only cost $10 and that was only 4 years ago. It only took a maximum of 30 seconds for them to take my picture and print out my new driver's license and POOF! $20 gone!
