Easter Blessings From The Ossege Family!

Austin was so excited about the Easter Bunny coming he woke up at 6:50 a.m.! He refused to go back to bed and started bribing people with kisses to wake up, so we could all go downstairs and hunt for eggs and baskets. The Easter bunny was really tricky this year in hiding the colorful Easter eggs we decorated. We put on our Easter best and headed over to Mom and Dad's for Easter brunch with the Grothaus family. We were so blessed that everyone was able to make it this year, including my cousin who was actually due today and lives in Dayton, OH. The kids had a fun egg hunt in the front yard and the adults played a hilarious game of Deal or No Deal. Austin took a liking to my cousin Luke's shiny motorcycle...guess it's a boy thing!

We spent the afternoon clebrating Easter with the Ossege Family at my in-laws house. The kids played a silly game of "Mother May I" in the backyard, kids were moving backwards more than forwards. We participated in another egg hunt with lots of prizes. Again, Austin was more interested in watching everyone else, than collecting eggs. Everyone contributed to a delicious dinner. We were soooo tired by the time we left. All the kids hit the pillow and quickly drifted off to dreamland! I tried to take advantage of this time and work on cover letters, but that was short lived. You need a computer monitor to actually see the word doc. and ours had just died. It had been fading for months and we were making due with it. Now, we have a new Acer widescreen, flatscreen LCD HD monitor. WOW! What a difference it has made. More space on the computer desktop to work and we no longer have to squint to see things through the shades of gray.
