Weekend Recap

We are so tired after this past weekend! Friday, Lexus ran her 3rd cross country race and Randy was able to come home a day earlier. It was also girl's craft night at my house with Dana, Jenny, and Tiffany. I finished another page in Autin's scrapbook and started work on some pretty darn cute Thanksgiving cards. Everyone else was working on their Christmas cards, I was inspired by all the different designs they came up with. They were all so creative! Saturday morning, bright and early, we watched Lexus play soccer at 9 am and score her 1st goal of the season!!! Go Lexus, you rock! Plus, she had 2 assists and they won the game 4-1. Our cupboards and fridge were so bare, so Meijer was our next stop to stock up. Later, we attended Pete & Becky's Pig Roast. This is a co-worker of Randy's. The girls had a good time and made a new friend. Randy & I got to show off Austin and see our friends' new babies...Caroline and Samantha.

Sunday, we were up bright and early again to pack the car for our day trip to Cynthiana, KY with Matt, Ann, Natalie, and Nicole. I think this is becoming a tradition for us. We go down to the farm to put up the boys' tree stands for fall hunting season. We ate a picnic lunch and fished in the pond a little first. Whitley kept jumping in the pond, this made all the girls giggle. All four girls caught a total of 11 fish! Then we drove around putting up the tree stands. Austin enjoyed it when Kimberly, Natalie, and Nicole came over to play with him on the blanket.

Ann and I took some really beautiful pics of the kids in this huge alphafa field picking flowers. The sun was highlighting their beautiful hair, almost making it glow in the pictures.

Here are some pics of the kids in Matt's buddy stand with the boys and Whitley carrying around her best bud. Tonight, we are going to make apples pies!!! Thanks to Matt & Ann for buying us apples from the orchard on Saturday. I will post pics of our pie making tomorrow!
